Trade Union Records Newsletter

This newsletter is jointly published by the Noel Butlin Archives Centre and the University of Melbourne Archives. It was started in 1999 as a means of promoting the newly launched Trade Union Records Disposal Guide and Schedule. It was also designed as a forum in which issues associated with the creation, organisation, preservation and disposal of records of trade unions could be discussed. The four issues that have been published so far cover a wide range of topics including:

• advice on caring for photographs;
• news of current research in trade union history;
• reports and notices on training; and
• information about new tools and publications in the records and archives management fields.
